Andrew Radford is a 5th generation butcher who has been in the meat trade since he was 8 years old and took over Radford’s Butchers 30 years ago with his father, Peter.
Radford’s specialises in selling locally reared meat and believes that knowing where the meat has come from and how it has been bred ensures their customer’s get the finest quality. To ensure a rich and delicious flavour, Andrew hangs all his beef for 28 days.
The shop boasts a deli counter in which it serves its award winning homemade pies, roasted meats, pasties and fruit pies. Radford’s also sells to some of the top restaurants in the local area.
