Cattle are slaughtered Tuesday to Friday and must be brought in before 8am or the afternoon before with prior arrangement.

Cattle must have a tag in each ear and be under 72 months of age. If your beast is over 30 months but below 72 months regulations state that they must be de-boned on site for which a slightly higher charge will apply.

Each animal must also have a passport which will correspond to its 2 ear tags.

A Food Chain Information form needs to be completed for each consignment of cattle before they are unloaded at John Penny and Sons.

Click here to download the Food Chain Information form.

Staff will be on hand to help you unload and vehicle wash-out facilities are available.

The animal can be butchered to your own specification or we can provide details of a butcher local to you.

The holding number for John Penny and Sons is 49/492/8017.
