EBLEX - English Beef and Lamb Executive
The Quality Standard Mark for beef and lamb specifies that only beef and lamb produced, transported and slaughtered through an EBLEX approved assured supply chain is eligible to carry the Quality Standard Mark.
Quality Standard beef and lamb is produced to higher standards than required by law from a supply chain which is fully assured and independently inspected at every stage. This scheme includes additional requirements which are above current commercial and legal standards.
At John Penny’s we are proud to be able to qualify to use the Quality Standard Mark on their beef and lamb products.
FARM ASSURED
All farmers supplying Quality Standard beef and lamb are registered with a QSM qualifying farm assurance scheme, which covers best farming practices and animal welfare.

Independently inspected and assured throughout the processing, cutting and packing of the product, from abattoir through to point of purchase.
